Senior Account Executive

Location: Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia

Job Descriptions:  

Financial Transactions

  • Record and reconcile financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Ensure accuracy in coding and classification of financial entries.

 

Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely.

 

General Ledger Management

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
     

Financial Reporting

  • Contribute to the preparation of periodic financial reports.
  • Assist in analyzing financial data and providing insights.
     

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information for planning.
     

Internal Controls

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal control procedures.
  • Participate in internal audits to ensure compliance.
     

Vendor and Client Communication

  • Communicate with vendors and clients regarding financial matters.
  • Resolve inquiries and discrepancies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
     

Financial Analysis

  • Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare variance analysis reports.

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

Educational Level

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

 

Working Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Previous experience in an accounting executive or similar role is preferred.

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Certificates & Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and staff training.

 

Additional Considerations
